The present is loud and bright and blinking. My dad died slowly. (Too soon but oh so slow.) I had time to try to grasp the situation, only to realise that i couldn’t. I stared at him at me at death at all that I could not see. Neon notid is a body of work that grew out of this experience. It is a continuation of my previous work, only more methodically focused on following intuition, embracing the lack of controll and overview. The work combines analogue black and white photography with coloured glas. Neon notid was shown at Kunstgarasjen in Bergen 14th of March to 27th of April 2025.
